Network Care: The Somatic Journey

When was the last time you felt truly relaxed, present, and at peace with everything going on in your life?  How can you access and sustain the state of wellness and enjoy the benefits of peace, joy, and vitality that Network Care has to offer?

First you must understand your nervous system  It is the foundation for all of your lived experiences. It’s where everything begins in your body system. We think that the brain is running the show but in fact, it’s beneath the level of the brain, it’s inside your body. The Nervous System is where we begin the journey and live in a state of ease.

Awaken Wellness Coaching encourages productive thinking versus rumination and other forms of unhealthy thinking. Coaching helps us to examine our language (inner and expressed thoughts, stories, mindsets, and beliefs) to create new habits in these areas for sustainable empowered outcomes.

Utilizing Somato-Respiratory Integration and connecting through breath as a tool for shifting out of sympathetic tone (or the “fight, flight, freeze” response) improves our “vagal tone” and teaches us how to hold a state of vitality and a state of tension at the same time.

Our bodies express and hold our life stories. When we have experienced trauma, or if we are having a difficult time regulating our emotions and being present in life, our body is the first to know.  When we learn and discover these somatic practices we can develop the awareness and the presence to be able to hear and pay attention to our body.  Our body speaks to us and these practices are an invitation to listen deeply.

As our transformational healing journey progresses, we begin to awaken to the life that we are here to fulfill. With greater clarity, one can see how each life experience, no matter how painful, inconvenient, or disrupting to the life we were living has been reorganizing our body and our lives, shaping us into the person we have been called to become.

"How many people are trapped in their everyday habits: part numb, part frightened, part indifferent? To have a better life we must keep choosing how we're living!" ~ Albert Einstein
