What is Group Entrainment?

Entrainments are typically done in a group setting to facilitate and enhance each individual’s healing practice together. The energy field created in the room assists in the personal reorganizational healing journey of each patient. A good analogy regarding group energy can be made by observing flocks of birds flying in a “V” formation. Flying this way creates a “slip stream” effect which lowers air resistance and makes it easier for the group of birds to fly long distances, because they don’t have to expend as much energy as if they were flying solo.

Similarly, a group that is receiving entrainments in the same room illustrates this "plus factor" principle. This practice empowers people to entrain with each other's healing rhythms, like birds flocking in formation, making healing easier and more graceful than could be achieved alone. When one person is healing, it becomes easy to share that healing with everyone in the group. Additional benefits to the community group care option include: enhanced well-being, education, safety, quality of life, and a sense of belonging in community.

Dr. Stern is always respectful of a patient's right to privacy. Therefore, there is always the option of receiving one-on-one care for anyone who requests to have a private session on a particular day.

What are my Payment Options?

We believe in the value of wellness care for you and your family and have maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Dr. Stern’s services are out of network for some insurance programs. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged.

Insurance
Some insurance plans are accepted out of network. Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care by Dr. Stern. Our staff will verify and explain your benefits before treatment, at no charge.

No Insurance?
For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. If you have no insurance or do not have chiropractic benefits there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable.

Family Plans
Dr. Stern’s focus is to actively help you and your family in taking responsibility for your health, wellness, and disease management. He assists and guides you to take the time to care for the important people in your world: you and your family. In an effort to make living the wellness lifestyle as easy and affordable as possible, we can create a customized family plan that is specific to you and your family.

Health on a Budget
We are convinced that a small amount of your time and money to care for your most important asset–your health–will be far less time consuming and expensive than trying to recover it. If you feel you do not have enough time or money to take care of yourself, please contact us–we can help! The last thing we want is for you to come to Dr. Stern in crisis. So please, we would like to encourage you to take your health very seriously. As the old saying goes, if you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything. Unfortunately, too many people don’t discover how true that statement is until it is too late.

What kind of results can I expect right away?

You can expect to immediately feel more relaxed, loose and flexible in your body. Your breathing will become deeper and easier. In most cases, your pain and tension levels will be significantly reduced within a short time. But that’s really the tip of the iceberg.

As your body shifts out of “fight or flight” mode, you’ll begin to experience more clarity, a sense of inner-calm and peace and a pleasant elongation of your spine as your posture straightens. This is the beginning of the many life-changing benefits Dr. Lawrence G. Stern has to offer.

How can I be sure your process will work for me?

We do our best to educate you about what is happening and we’ll explain in detail what you can expect and how long it will take to reach your goals. We’re confident that you’ll immediately know that you’re in the right place by the way you’re treated and the way you feel after the sessions.

How often will I need to come in to get results?

Your recommended visit frequency will depend on your body’s current condition, your lifestyle and your overall health and wellness objectives.

Our Basic program consists of 30 visits over a 12 week period. Our Intermediate program consists of 45 visits over a 6 month period and our Advanced program consists of 60 + visits over a 12 month period.

We don’t believe in a “cookie-cutter” approach though, and during your initial visits we’ll evaluate your specific situation and decide together which program is the best fit for you, or we’ll create a customized program to meet your specific needs.

In Level One of Network Care, you will begin to develop awareness about yourself through your breath, energy and movement. We work to re-establishing integrity in your nervous system and developing continuity in how your brain and body communicate.

Level Two of Network Care, you become an active participant in your healing. We build on your new level of awareness and help you see and acknowledge patterns in your body and in your life, developing acceptance of all of your parts. With greater connection comes positive, sustainable shifts in your life. You will notice changes in your body, the range of emotions you can experience and the quality of your thoughts.

In Level Three of Network Care you have established a strong platform or baseline and the life you are leading now is vastly different than the life you were leading before Network Care. You will notice changes in the quality of your relationships, how you perceive yourself and others. You may have adapted healthy lifestyle changes and replaced poor coping strategies. You may start developing or further your spiritual path. Your body is strong and flexible, your range of emotions is wide and varied and the quality of your thoughts are uplifting and exciting.

What scientific evidence do you have that your methods work?

Network Spinal Analysis is a cutting-edge methodology at the frontier of body/mind research.

A retrospective study of over 2,800 people conducted through UC Irvine Medical College documented significant improvements in quality of life in the majority of people receiving Network Chiropractic care, and the wave patterns that occur during an NSA entrainment are the focus of a number of research papers by French mathematician professor Edmund Jonckheere and his colleagues in the USC Department of Engineering.

Professor Jonckheere is currently exploring the relationship between the “wave” created in Network Spinal Analysis and the energy-efficiency and adaptability of the nervous system. I’ve suffered from back pain for years. What would you suggest?

Back pain, especially chronic back pain, is rarely a one-cause one cure situation. There are many factors that can contribute to ongoing back pain, including unresolved physical injuries, emotional and mental stress.
Rather than just giving you a spinal adjustment for temporary relief, we suggest a holistic approach that will help you identify and change the patterns that are contributing to your back pain. Through low force Network Spinal Analysis “entrainment” (a unique method that promotes a spontaneous wave-like release of tension within the spine), we’ll help you release tension and connect to the underlying source of your pain so that you can truly resolve it.

I’ve suffered from headaches for years. I’ve tried a number of medical doctors in the area but none of the medications they’ve prescribed have helped. Can you help?

Although we don’t claim to diagnose and directly treat symptoms, we’ve worked with hundreds of patients with many types of headaches, ranging from tension headaches to migraines with positive results.

Our experience has shown us that headaches, like any other pain signals, are a sign that your body is asking for a change in your behavior, your perceptions or your body structure. So, we focus on helping you develop the awareness and discover the resources to change the way you’re interacting with your body and living your life. The by-product of the lifestyle changes that you make is often a headache-free experience.

In most cases the severity and frequency of the headaches significantly diminishes, or the headaches vanish altogether. Medications only provide temporary relief for headaches. We seek to understand the factors influencing and contributing to your headaches and help you make the necessary life changes to keep the headaches from recurring.

Between trying to run my company and trying to spend quality time with my family, I’m finding it overwhelming. Can your programs help relieve me of this stress?"

We find that a “busy” life is typically not the problem. The problem is your inability to shift gears and “unhook” from the stress-causing factors that are overwhelming you. Our programs can help you release tension from your body and learn how to respond to and manage the stress that you’re under without constantly carrying it within you.

Expect to work with us about twice a week for 12 weeks to get the ball rolling. We’ll help you release tension from your spine and nervous system, teach you helpful exercises and give you plenty of recommendations to decrease your stress levels quickly and naturally.

I work at a computer all day and I have constant neck pain. Can you help with this?

When it comes to their computer station, most people have a far from optimal ergonomic setup. In fact, we find that even people with excellent workstations often get neck and back pain from long hours in front of the screen.

Our solution is to help you get so connected to and in-tune with your body’s cues and feedback that you’re able to stay present and attentive to the exact positions you need to be in. Instead of staying static at your desk and needing neck pain to let you know that you’re not being attentive to your body, with our care, you’ll be able to stay fluid, flexible and free instead.
